Project Type: Film Styling - Seventh (Welcome Home Short Film)
Role: Set Styling, Creative Direction
I worked as Stylist and Assistant Creative Director on a short film for Seventh featuring Letitia Wright.
The film extended the Welcome Home Autumn/Winter 2024 campaign, offering a more intimate and personal narrative centred around family, connection and belonging.
Project Context
The direction was centred around creating a space that felt genuinely lived-in and personal.
Beyond wardrobe, my role extended into shaping the environment:
• Sourcing and placing home products
• Bringing in personal items to build authenticity
• Styling the space to feel warm, natural and familiar
The goal was to ensure the setting reflected the same emotional tone as the narrative comfortable, intimate and real.
Role & Contribution
• Lead Styling Full Film
• Assistant Creative Direction
• Prop Styling & Set Dressing
• Product Placement & Sourcing
• On-Set Styling Across Multiple Looks
Creative Approach
The direction was centred around creating a space that felt genuinely lived-in and personal.
Beyond wardrobe, my role extended into shaping the environment:
• Sourcing and placing home products
• Bringing in personal items to build authenticity
• Styling the space to feel warm, natural and familiar
The goal was to ensure the setting reflected the same emotional tone as the narrative comfortable, intimate and real.
Styling Direction
The styling drew from the Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, integrating multiple looks throughout the film.
Approach:
• Soft, relaxed silhouettes
• Layering suited to a home environment
• Effortless, everyday wearability
• Subtle elevation without over-styling
Each look was designed to feel organic within the space, supporting the story rather than dominating it.
Narrative Focus
At the centre of the film was Letitia Wright and her family, highlighting:
• The importance of unity and support
• Shared experiences within a home
• The emotional meaning of belonging
Styling and set worked together to reinforce this creating a visual language rooted in warmth, trust and familiarity.
Environment & Set Styling
A key part of my contribution was building the “home” atmosphere.
This included:
• Product placement throughout the house
• Layering textures and objects to add depth
• Creating a cohesive, lived-in aesthetic
• Supporting the cinematography through spatial styling
The environment became an extension of the storytelling.
Output
The project delivered:
• Short film (YouTube release)
• Campaign extension content
• Behind-the-scenes documentation
This piece acted as a narrative bridge between campaign and real-life storytelling.
This project reflects my ability to move beyond styling into full visual storytelling, combining wardrobe, environment and creative direction.
It highlights a more holistic approach where styling is not just about clothing, but about building a world that supports emotion, narrative and identity.
